JAMMU, June 21: Bhagat Mahasabha, J&K unit is celebrating 612th Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Sahibji on June 26 at Parade Ground along with other Sabhas of the State.While addressing media persons, Bhagat Mahasabha president, Bodh Raj Bhagat, said to gear up Utsav celebrations, national Mahasabha president Prof Raj Kumar arrived here yesterday.
On 612th Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Sahibji various Megh samaj leaders are expected to participate in this celebrations, prominent among those being R P Singh and Gopal Dewal from Rajasthan (writer of Megh Vansh Samaj books), Dr Harbans Lal Leelar, president Megh Samaj Sangh, Abohar.
On this prestigious occasion meritorious students will be honored. Langer, Chabeels will be served to Sangat. Punjabi singers Ranjan Romi, Ashu Koti Bhagat and Piyush Bahgat, contender of Chak Doom-Doom Color Channel will also be honoured. The family members of Shaheed Bhagat Amar Nath will be the special invitee.
Bodh Raj Bhagat again reiterated his demand for declaring gazatted holiday on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti. CDs of sadguru Kabir and Shaheed Bhagat Amar Nath will be released, besides Shabad Kirtan, Parvachan on the teachings of Sadguru Kabir and cultural programme by children are going to be centre of attraction on this auspicious day. Free annual calander of Sadguru Kabir Saheb ji Maharaj will also be distributed.
Others who were present in the press conference are Swaran Lal Bhagat, Mohinder Bhagat, Chanchal Bhagat, Vijay Kumar, Tara Chand and Parveen Bhagat.
Sangat in form of jankies are expected in large numbers from within the State as well as from outside.
