Gazetted holiday on Kabir Jayanti demanded(Daily Excelsior)

Daily EXCELSIOR Jammu 15: Bhagat Mahasabha J&K unit, has demanded declaration of gazetted holiday on June 26 on the occasion of 612th Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Sahibji. While addressing the media persons, Bodh Raj Bhagat, president,Bhagat Mahasabha told that Sabha is going to organize State level function at Parade Ground, Jammu on June 26 in which about 50,000 Kabirpanthy from all over Jammu province, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan will participate. On the occasion all meritorious students, newly selected KAS, KPS, IAS, IPS officers etc will be honoured. Prominent Punjabi singer Romi Ranjan and 1st runner MH1 Awaz Punjab Di, Ashu Koti and Piyush Bhagat contender of Chak Dum-Dum Colour channel programme will also be honoured. Dr Farooq Abdullah Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy is expected to participate beside family members of Shaheed Bahgat Amar Nath will be special invitee. Religious discourses will be held and the philosophy and teaching of Sant Kabirji recalled. Mahasabha president has appealed all Megh Samaj to reach in thousands at Parade Ground to celebrate the Prakash Utsav of Paramsant Sadguru Kabir Sahibji. Others members of Bhagat Mahasabha present on the occasion were Lal Chand Bhagat, Puran Chand Bhagat, Swarn Lal Bhagat, Mohinder Bhagat, Chanchla Bhagat, Sheela Bhagat, Col Swarn Singh, Charan Dass Bhagat, Vijay Kumar Bhagat, Tara Chand and Parveen Bhagat.
